In September, Ubisoft hinted at the elimination of the early access period for the long awaited  Assassin's Creed Shadows when it shifted the game's launch date to February 14, 2025. It explained that "all players will be able to enjoy the game at the same time," suggesting that the inclusion of an early access would be unfair for other patient gamers.  In a recent statement on the official Assassin's Creed Discord , the community manager  UbiRealDude  confirmed that there would be not initial access to the game. He went on to explain that it will be released at the same time as the standard edition on February 14. One could conclude that Ubisoft is really strict with the withdrawal of early access on all platforms, considering that the collector's edition on  GameStop  which usually offers a three-day early access period is not available for pre-order by players.
